Everything perfect since we arrived in Marrakech Ali and Aziz, a duo that is always attentive and very friendly Knowledgeable about their country and culture Super recommended!!!Gus GorziJune 1, 2024The perfect tour through Morocco! We decided to fly to Morocco at short notice. Unfortunately, we only had 8 days and couldn't do everything we had planned, so we had Zaid put together a trip for us that showed us the highlights on the route from Marrakech to Merzouga and on to Fez. It was really well organized and a relaxing trip. The best part was spending the night in the desert and then watching the sunrise. Many thanks to Zaid for the quick, short-term planning and organization! If we fly to Morocco again, we'll hopefully have more time, which we'll definitely have Zaid plan and organize again. :)Florian GMay 13, 2024A truly amazing vacation! Don't go to Morocco with anyone but Zaid and his team! I have now taken two different trips with Zaid, one as a girls trip and one as a big family trip. The two trips were totally different groups and sizes. The girls trip was just 3 of us and the family trip was a group of 9, both trips were equally incredible and Zaid really knows how to cater to his visitors. Vacations can be so fun but also stressful at times especially in big groups as different people obviously want different things but Zaid and his group do a wonderful job of making sure that your vacation is truly a vacation and is as stress free as can be. Want to share two separate occasions where Zaid truly went above and beyond to make sure our time was completely stress free and we really just got to enjoy being away. The very first time I was in Morocco I made the mistake of leaving my glasses behind at the hotel we had stayed in the previous night, by the time in which I noticed we had driven hours and hours away to a new city. Our tour path was not taking us anywhere near back to where we had started. I thought my glasses were gone, but Zaid came to the rescue. I have no idea how he did it but he told me not to worry and by the time we reached out hotel the next night, my glasses were sitting there waiting for me. No extra charge or anything, and to this day I have no idea how he worked the miracle he did. These are the little things that truly make vacation with Zaid an experience like no other. On our second trip out, we had plans to take camels in the desert. Zaid had confirmed with us multiple times that we were interested in taking the camels to and from the desert and did not want to do ATVs or Jeeps. We had told him camels was what we wanted. After riding the camels out to the our desert camp we were sitting around at dinner talking about how we do kind of wish we could've done the ATVs instead now that we had experienced the camels. Zaid overheard our conversation and asked "you guys want to do ATVs instead tomorrow morning?" Now, this was something we were not even planning on requesting as we didn't think it was possible. We had ridden the camels in at sunset and the camels were going to be staying at the camp overnight with us for us to ride back out at sunrise. We asked if it was even possible to take ATVs out in the morning, and Zaid said of course it is your vacation whatever you want to do. Sure enough, the next morning we woke up at sunrise to find a line of ATVs waiting for us. No idea how he made it happen but he did! All in all I cannot recommend booking a trip with Zaid enough. I have since sent multiple families and groups out to visit Morocco with Zaid and have no heard a single negative experience thus far. If you want to have a truly stress free and relaxing trip, go with Zaid and his team. We simply told Zaid one or two places we wanted to see in Morocco and he filled in the rest. Amazing!Marisa LMarch 20, 2024Extraordinary journey Incredible trip to Morocco! 🤩 The moments spent in the Erg Chebbi desert and the luxury bivouac were memorable. Chefchaouen added an unforgettable touch to our experience. Zaid from "Welcome Morocco Tours" was an exceptional guide, making our stay even more special with his expertise and friendliness. I highly recommend this enriching adventure!🤩Gabriel MartinMarch 18, 2024⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My husband and I had a wonderful time in Morocco with our guide and driver, Zaid. We saw the best the country had to offer, stayed in warm and inviting accommodations, and met equally wonderful people. Zaid made a point to treat us like family, and went out of his way to help us capture the magic of Morocco in our photographs. I can't recommend this company enough, do yourself a favor and book with them!Annie CMarch 18, 2024Zaid AKA "The Owner of the Desert", always present in our hearts!!! Honestly it was spectacular! Everyone who participated and we met during our stay was very kind. The guide and driver Zaid (owner), always present ("the owner of the desert"), speaks Spanish so that one feels much more comfortable. All the staff of the two Riads where one stops and makes a base, super friendly, polite and ready to solve any requirement.Juan Manuel BasualdoFebruary 28, 2024100% recommendable Highly recommended. We took a tour of Tangier, Asilah, Rabat, Meknes, Volubilis, Fez and Chaouen. They were in charge of finding accommodation for us, beautiful and well-located riads. Zaid accompanied us and was available to us all 4 days, he took us to all the places we asked, wonderful restaurants (outside the typical and crowded tourism) and he was delightful. I would repeat without a doubt 100%Maria dFebruary 19, 2024

—
Begin your journey by meeting your driver at your hotel/riad in Marrakech at 8:00 am. Your adventure commences as you head southward, crossing the impressive High Atlas Mountains via the highest road pass in Morocco, Tizi-n-Tichka (2260 m high). This route offers awe-inspiring vistas of valleys, mountains, and numerous Berber villages.
As you approach Ouarzazate, you’ll have the privilege of visiting the UNESCO-protected Ait Benhaddou, a remarkably well-preserved Kasbah and fortress in Morocco. This iconic site has been featured in numerous Hollywood movies, including Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, and Game of Thrones.
Continuing your journey, you’ll head towards the enchanting Dades Valley, passing through Mgouna, Skoura (surrounded by Berber villages), and ultimately arriving in Dades Valley. Here, you’ll spend the night.
ACCOMMODATION:
On the second day, set off from Dades in the morning after enjoying breakfast and a refreshing shower. Your destination is Todra Gorges, one of Morocco’s most breathtaking and awe-inspiring canyons, aptly named for its tight resemblance to a human throat or gorge. Take some time to explore the canyon, appreciating the sight and the soothing sound of the river coursing through it.
From Todra Gorge, your journey continues to Merzouga, passing through mesmerizing landscapes, lush palm tree oases, and charming Berber Villages. You’ll traverse the small town of Erfoud, marking the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet, before finally arriving in Merzouga.
Depending on your arrival time in Merzouga, you’ll have the option to relax or embark immediately on a camel trek into the desert, where you’ll spend the night in a desert camp. The camel trek typically begins around 17:00 – 18:00 in summer and 15:00 – 16:00 in winter, lasting approximately one hour. Upon reaching the camp, you’ll relish the mesmerizing views of the Sahara dunes and the captivating desert sunset. You’ll be welcomed with a traditional Moroccan tea, followed by dinner in the main tent (restaurant). After dinner, delight in desert music performed by local artists around a campfire. Be sure to gaze up at the sky to witness the astonishing display of countless stars. Please note that campfires are available only during the colder months (at night) from late November to mid-April and when there’s no wind.
ACCOMMODATION:
Rise early on the third day to catch the magnificent sunrise, should you desire. After breakfast and a shower, embark on a morning camel trek back to Merzouga, where you’ll reunite with your driver.
Continue your journey back to Marrakech, passing through various regions and diverse Berber villages like Alnif, Tazarine, and N’kob. Your route leads you to Ouarzazate, where you’ll follow the same road back to Marrakech.
Anticipate an evening arrival in Marrakech, estimated around 18:00 – 19:00, depending on your morning departure and the duration of stops along the way.

We were hesitant about a long bus journey, but the comfort and scenery made it worthwhile. The stops were well-chosen, and the desert camp was luxurious.
