Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech and Accommodation Transfer
Upon your arrival in Marrakech, our driver will greet you at the airport and transport you to your chosen accommodation. Take the remainder of the day to unwind and explore the vibrant Jemaa el Fnaa square and the bustling souks at your leisure.
Day 2: Full-Day Guided Tour of Marrakech
On this day, you’ll embark on a comprehensive guided tour of Marrakech’s enchanting Medina led by an experienced local guide. The itinerary includes iconic landmarks such as the Koutoubia Mosque, the bustling Medina, and its labyrinthine souks and narrow alleys.
Delve deeper into Marrakech’s secrets by exploring the Saadian Tombs, the opulent Bahia Palace, the historic Ali Ben Youssef Koranic School, and the serene Majorelle Gardens. After the tour, return to your traditional Riad nestled within the Medina.
Day 3: Marrakech to Dades via Atlas Mountains, Ait Ben Haddou, and Ouarzazate (325 km)
Our 7-Day Tour begins at around 08:30 as we depart from Marrakech towards Dades Gorges. We’ll traverse the renowned Tizi N’Tichka pass, offering panoramic vistas of the High Atlas Mountains, Berber villages, and beyond. Our next stop is the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, where you’ll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant near the Kasbah.
Continuing our journey, we arrive in Ouarzazate, known as “The Gateway to the Desert.” Here, you’ll explore the historic Kasbah Taourirt and the renowned Atlas Film Studios, which have attracted international film producers, earning Ouarzazate the moniker “Hollywood of Africa.”
Afterwards, we venture to Dades Gorges through the scenic Roses and Dades Valley. The day concludes with a traditional Moroccan dinner and an overnight stay in a riad/hotel amid the captivating Dades gorges.
Day 4: Dades Valley to Merzouga via Todra Gorges and Erfoud (255 km)
Following a hearty breakfast, we retrace our steps within the Dades Valley to marvel at the striking rock formation known as “the monkey toes” and the 19th-century Ait Yul Kasbah. We then proceed towards Tinghir and the awe-inspiring Todra Gorges, where you’ll be captivated by the ancient clay Berber villages perched on the canyon’s edge.
Upon reaching the Todra Gorges, you’ll have the opportunity to stroll alongside the imposing 300m-high red cliffs, a haven for rock climbers. Our journey continues to Erfoud, where we’ll savor lunch before heading to the mesmerizing sand dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga.
In Merzouga, an experienced Camel guide awaits to lead you on a camel trek, allowing you to explore the magical, undulating sands of Erg-Chebbi. A stop to savor the sunset and indulge in sandboarding awaits you before spending a night under the stars in a well-equipped desert camp, featuring traditional Berber-style nomad tents. The evening includes a delightful dinner and a lively music celebration around the campfire.
Day 5: Merzouga Desert Exploration and Berber Culture (40 km)
As part of our 7-Day tour, following a refreshing shower and breakfast at the desert camp, you’ll embark on a return camel trek to the starting point. From there, our driver will accompany you on a tour of the Merzouga area, including a visit to the seasonal Merzouga lake, home to migratory bird species, including flamingos.
Continuing, you’ll encounter a village whose residents predominantly originate from Sub-Saharan countries, known for their Gnawa music and unique lifestyle. En route to a nomadic family, we’ll pause in the quiet town of Mefes, which boasts lead mines and mineral resources.

Day 6: Merzouga to Ouarzazate via Er Rissani, Alnif, Nkob, and Agdz (367 km)
After bidding farewell with a satisfying breakfast and a refreshing shower at the hotel, we’ll depart from the Merzouga desert and commence our journey to Ouarzazate, following an alternate route that takes us through charming Berber villages nestled within the Atlas mountains, including Alnif, Agdz, and the Draa Valley.
By evening, we’ll reach Ouarzazate, where you’ll dine and lodge in a local riad.
Day 7: Ouarzazate to Marrakech via High Atlas Mountains (195 km)
On the final day of our 7-Day tour, we’ll depart from Ouarzazate in the morning en route to Marrakech. Before reaching our final destination, we’ll visit the studios that have attracted numerous film productions. Crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi N Tichka pass, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of canyons, mountain landscapes, and nearby Berber villages.
In the evening, we’ll arrive in Marrakech, where our journey concludes. You’ll be dropped off at your accommodation or the airport as per your preference.
