6-Day Tour From Casablanca
Day 1: Casablanca to Fes via Rabat and Meknes
Our journey begins in Casablanca, where we’ll personally pick you up. We’ll make a stop in Rabat, where you’ll have the chance to explore the iconic landmarks of Hssan’s Tower and Oudaya Kasbah. As we continue towards Fes, you’ll witness the picturesque farmlands, where a variety of crops including olives, vegetables, cereals, and grapes flourish. In Meknes, we’ll unveil the wonders of Bab Mansour, the grand Gateway of Moulay Ismail Palace, a historic birthplace of the first Arab dynasty. Finally, we’ll proceed to Fes, where you’ll spend the night in a charming riad.
Day 2: Exploring Fes
This day is dedicated to the exploration of Fes, Morocco’s oldest city. Our journey commences at the Royal Palace entrance, followed by a visit to Mellah, the 16th-century Jewish Quarter. You’ll experience the rich cultural and historical tapestry of the city, with visits to Al Qaraouine, the region’s oldest university, the Tanneries, the Attarine Museum, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss. We’ll conclude our tour with a stop at a breathtaking panoramic viewpoint of Fes Medina.
Day 3: Fes to Merzouga via Ifrane, Cedar Forest, Ziz Valley, and Erfoud
Our day begins with an early departure from Fes. We’ll first visit Ifrane, often referred to as “Moroccan Switzerland,” allowing you to explore this picturesque city. Continuing south, we’ll journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Azrou, where you might encounter wild monkeys. Our route takes us to Midelt for a lunch break, followed by a scenic drive through the Ziz Valley, a lush expanse of palm trees. As we reach Merzouga in the Erg Chebbi Desert, you’ll be welcomed with traditional tea and almonds. Experience the magic of the desert with a camel ride into the Erg Chebbi dunes, where a captivating sunset awaits. Afterward, dinner will be served in your desert camp, accompanied by rhythmic drum music around a bonfire.
Day 4: Merzouga to Ouarzazate via Jorf, Todra Gorges, Dades, and Skoura
Begin your day early to witness a mesmerizing sunrise over the desert. After breakfast and a morning camel trek, our journey unfolds with a series of awe-inspiring sights. We’ll pass through charming towns and visit remarkable locations like Tinghir, where you can explore the Todra canyon with its flowing stream. Our adventure leads us to Ouarzazate, with stops at Dades Valley, Mgoun, and Skoura, where you can explore an ancient Kasbah. By day’s end, we’ll arrive in Ouarzazate.
Day 5: Ouarzazate to Marrakech via Ait Ben Haddou and High Atlas Mountains
Commencing at 08:00, our day begins with a visit to Ouarzazate’s renowned film studio (optional). We’ll then travel to Ait Benhaddou, an ancient Kasbah perched atop a hill overlooking a river, known for its appearances in famous movies. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage site and has been featured in blockbusters like Game of Thrones, Lawrence of Arabia, and the Mummy. Continuing eastward, we’ll be captivated by the stunning landscapes of the High Atlas Mountains. We’ll make several stops for picturesque views before navigating the winding roads to Marrakech. Upon arrival, you’ll have half a day to explore Marrakech before checking in to your hotel.
Day 6: Free Time in Marrakech – Departure
Depending on your flight schedule, you’ll have some free time to explore the vibrant city of Marrakech before transferring to the airport for your departure.

The variety of activities and sites packed into the tours is impressive, but I would have appreciated more downtime to explore on my own.
